The Bedroom
Step out the door and you're at Kiest Park. 230 acres of trails, playgrounds, a pool, and some of the best sunsets in Dallas.
The casita is a separate guesthouse in my backyard. Private entrance, your own bathroom, no shared walls. It's just yours.
I'll send you the door code before your stay. Let yourself in whenever you're ready — no awkward key handoffs.

Hey! I'm Ryan, and this little casita in my backyard is basically your own private retreat, right next to Kiest Park in Oak Cliff.
The neighborhood is one of those sleepy, tree-lined corners of Dallas that most tourists never find — but the people who live here love it. You're close to everything (Bishop Arts is a quick drive, downtown is 15 minutes), but it's quiet enough that you'll actually sleep well. I've hosted guests from as far away as Milan and Adelaide — people find this place from all over the world, and they keep coming back.
The casita itself is compact but has everything you need: a comfortable queen bed, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, a coffee station (because priorities), AC, WiFi, and a TV. The vibe is cozy — sage green walls, dark hardwood floors, soft lighting. People tell me it feels like a little retreat, and honestly that's exactly what I was going for.
You'll have your own private entrance through the red door (you really can't miss it), and you're welcome to hang out in the backyard too. Kiest Park is literally right there — great for morning walks, evening runs, or just sitting on a bench and doing nothing. Highly recommend the doing nothing.

My husband and I truly enjoyed this place! It was super cute. The area is very calm and quiet. There is a cute park across the street, which we loved. The room was very clean, cozy, and welcoming! Ryan was a great host — very responsive, and super understanding. I would definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area!
This was probably our favorite Airbnb we've ever stayed in! It was perfect for just my husband and I. Super clean and homey and the host was fabulous!
The place is small but very comfortable and felt private. The bed was amazing, super soft and clean. There's a huge park across the street which was very lovely and added to the privacy! We attended an expo downtown and it was only 10–15 mins away — really convenient location.
Favorite AirBNB so far. Every time I stay it's affordable, very clean, accommodating, great location, and communicative host.
Such a nice place to stay during our weekend visit to see friends in south Dallas! We were so close to Bishop Arts and enjoyed our morning walk in the park literally across the street. Will definitely stay again.
When I originally saw pictures of the Casita I automatically assumed it was smaller than it actually was. Boy was I wrong! I definitely became a fan. Check in was extremely simple and flexible and his response time is extremely fast as well.
Such a gem! The casita is exactly as pictured — cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up. We loved being right next to the park for morning walks. Ryan was super quick to respond to questions. Would absolutely book again.
Perfect little spot for a weekend in Dallas. The bed is seriously comfortable and having your own private entrance makes it feel like your own place. Bishop Arts is close and the park is great for a run. Five stars.
We've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and this one stands out. It's small but you have everything you need, the neighborhood is quiet, and Ryan is one of the most responsive hosts we've ever had. Already planning our next visit!
Came to Dallas from Milan for work and this place was ideal. Quiet, private, clean, and the park across the street was beautiful. The coffee station was a nice touch. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.
Oak Cliff · Dallas, Texas
Oak Cliff is one of Dallas's most interesting neighborhoods — it's got character without trying too hard. The casita sits right next to Kiest Park (230 acres of trails, playgrounds, and green space), and you're a quick drive to the Bishop Arts District for food, drinks, and shopping. Downtown Dallas is about 15 minutes away, but honestly, you might not want to leave the neighborhood.
